Cash Pilot is a finance tracking application designed to help companies and sole traders manage their income, expenses, GST, tax, and financial records securely.

Information We Collect

Personal information such as your name and email address (when you create an account or sign in)
Financial data you enter, such as income, expenses, categories, GST and tax details
Receipt and invoice images you choose to scan, and the text of voice or typed entries you provide
Device information, such as a push-notification token, used for app functionality and performance

How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve app functionality
To securely store and sync your financial data
To read receipts and invoices you scan, and to understand voice or typed entries, so we can pre-fill your income and expense details for you to review before saving
To send reminders and notifications you have enabled
To enhance your experience

AI Processing

When you use our receipt/invoice scanning or voice/text entry features, the image or text is sent securely to trusted service providers (including AI providers) that process it on our behalf solely to extract transaction details such as amount, GST, date and supplier. These providers act as our processors, do not use your data for their own purposes, and do not sell it.

Data Security

We use secure cloud services (such as Firebase) to store your data, and all data is encrypted in transit. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers that help us operate the app.

Data Ownership

You fully own your financial data. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see our Account & Data Deletion page.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected within the app or on this page.
